Here the student has to prove his or her point with supporting facts. The student will present his or her case using facts and reason. All of the logic he or she presents must support their argument.When the student is ready to move on to the next stage, it is a good idea to keep in mind that he or she is presenting a response to the author's own argument. The goal of this stage is to show the reader or listener how the author thinks. This is where the student will get creative. His or her creativity can make an interesting argument out of a previous piece of literature.Stage Three is not the only stage to think about when considering a writing assignment. There are other steps in writing a persuasive essay. Consider incorporating some stage elements into your writing so that you can see how they relate to each other.In most cases the author will have a good relationship with his or her readers. There will be people who agree with him or her, and there will be those who do not agree with them.
